Not on Android. There, ParentalEdge registers as a device administrator and closes the uninstall, force-stop and clear-data screens the moment they open, so it can't be removed or switched off from Settings. To remove it yourself, unregister the device from your parent dashboard first. On iPhone, iPad and Mac, Apple's rules limit what any parental control app can lock down.
No. Educational apps like Google Classroom, Vedantu, Unacademy and Khan Academy are allowed by default. If an app your child needs is blocked, allow it from the child's Rules in your dashboard.
When the daily limit runs out, the phone stays usable for essentials: Phone, Messages, Clock, Calculator and Maps. Bedtime can be set to essentials-only, and you can also switch off calls and messages for the night, so check your bedtime setting if you want your child to be able to ring you after lights-out.
