Currently, we support Android devices (phones and tablets). iOS support is coming soon!
How long does it take to set up?
Less than 5 minutes! Just install the app on your child's device, scan the QR code from your parent app, and you're done.
Do I need to be tech-savvy?
Not at all. We designed ParentalEdge for busy parents. The interface is simple, intuitive, and we guide you through every step.
Will my child know the app is there?
Yes, we believe in transparency. The app is visible on their device, which encourages open conversations about healthy digital habits.
Daily Use & Features
How do Time Windows work?
Time Windows let you schedule specific times for different activities. For example, you can block games during homework hours (4-6 PM) but allow them after dinner.
Can I set different rules for weekends?
Absolutely. You can create custom schedules for weekdays and weekends, or even specific days of the week.
What is Bedtime Locking?
Bedtime Locking automatically blocks all entertainment and distracting apps at a set time (e.g., 9 PM) to ensure your child gets a good night's sleep.
Does it block built-in apps like Camera or Settings?
Yes, you can choose to block system apps if needed, though we recommend keeping essential tools available.
Can I set different limits for different apps?
Yes! You can set a 1-hour limit for social media, a 2-hour limit for games, and unlimited time for educational apps.
What if there is an emergency?
Essential calls and SMS are never blocked, so your child can always contact you in an emergency.
Can my teen bypass the restrictions?
We have advanced uninstall protection and tamper detection. If they try to remove the app or change settings, you'll get an instant alert.
Privacy & Safety
Is my child's data private?
Yes. We do not sell data to third parties. Your child's activity data is for your eyes only.
Who can see the activity reports?
Only the parents or guardians you explicitly invite to your family account can view the reports.
What happens to my data if I cancel?
If you cancel your subscription, all your family's data is permanently deleted from our servers after a grace period.
Do you sell data to advertisers?
Never. Our business model is based on subscriptions, not data monetization. We are 100% ad-free and private.

Is there a free trial?
Yes, we offer a full-featured 30-day free trial. No credit card is required to start.
How many devices can I monitor?
Our standard plan covers up to 5 devices. The Large Family plan covers up to 15 devices.
What is the difference between the plans?
The only difference is the number of devices. All safety features are included in every plan.
What happens after the trial?
You can choose to subscribe to keep the premium features. If not, the account reverts to a limited free version.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes, there are no long-term contracts. You can cancel your subscription instantly from the dashboard.
