What you get

Live map. Their current position, updating in real time. Zoom and pan as you like.

Movement trail. The path they took across the day — useful for confirming they went to school, came straight home, or stayed at the tuition centre they said they'd be at.

History. Pick any past date and see the full trail for that day.

Geofenced places. Home, School, and up to 3 custom spots — tuition centre, grandparents', the sports ground. You get a notification on arrival and on departure, so you stop opening the map every twenty minutes. Each place can be enabled or disabled separately.

Per-child toggle. Your ten-year-old probably needs it. Your sixteen-year-old may have earned not having it. One tap each.

Why it doesn't kill the battery

Most trackers poll GPS constantly, the phone dies by mid-afternoon, and the whole thing becomes pointless.

Two layers instead:

WiFi and cell signals, most of the time. The phone is already talking to towers and networks, so deriving an approximate position from that costs almost nothing.

GPS only when moving. Once they've shifted 100 metres or so, GPS wakes up for precision. Sitting in class or at home, it stays off.

All-day tracking that still leaves them a phone at 4pm.

It's visible, on purpose

Your child sees an indicator when tracking is active. There's no hidden mode, and that's deliberate — this is a safety tool, not surveillance, and children who know it's on tend to make better decisions and to talk to you about where they're going.

Alongside that: only you see the location data — no third parties, no advertisers, nothing sold — and it's encrypted in transit and at rest.

Frequently Asked Questions

Does it work while they're at school?

Yes, as long as the phone is on and has signal. Even where school WiFi blocks apps, location still resolves over cell signal.

Can my child turn location tracking off?

They can revoke the OS location permission — no app can truly prevent that on Android or iOS. What happens is that you get notified when the permission is removed or tracking stops, so it shows up rather than silently going dark.

How accurate is it?

Roughly 10–50 metres with GPS active, wider on cell and WiFi alone. Outdoors you'll usually see them within a few metres.

Does it work on iPhone?

Yes, though the trail and history are fullest on Android — Apple limits what any app, ours included, can report in the background on iOS.

Can I get an alert when they reach coaching class?

Yes. Add it as a custom place and you'll get both the arrival and the departure notification.
